Finishing

Like all good projects there are always a few details to clean up before you can call it totally finished.  Below you will find the basic cutting and assembly instructions to complete your neighborhood as well as a final blueprint of the completed neighborhood.

Ta-da-da-da!  You have made it to the last house this week.  Your neighborhood is complete.  Finishing instructions to follow.

Your neighborhood is So Close to completion!  Don't you just love the diversity of houses?  Because a Quilter designed it, this is not your typical cookie cutter housing development.  Enjoy the journey this week.

 

Block 14

You are not going to see very many "house boats" in Kansas, but that is what will set your neighborhood apart.  Whichever quilter lives there must be very organized to keep her sewing space to the max.

Block 13

You are now about to embark on the last row of your neighborhood!  It's an Awesome Feeling, isn't it?  This two-story beauty has a tall "sunflower" growing along with it.

This week's block looks like a two story or could be a townhome. Enjoy making this block!

block 10

Bird is back with Small House #10.   Special planning must have gone into your neighborhood to populate with song birds and tall trees.  Everything is coming together nicely--Life Is Good! 

Block 9

Time to begin the third row of houses. Your neighborhood should be showing a lot of color by now. 

Block 8

Once this block is complete you will be able to sew another row together!  Your neighborhood is beginning to take shape.  See you next Monday.

Block 7

This week's blueprints adds another neighbor with a quilt block on their house.  It's great to live in a neighborhood with other quilters!

Block 6

There's finally a multi-family dwelling for our neighborhood.  Carefree apartment living or a multi-generational large house.  You decide what it's purpose is.

Block 5

          In every neighborhood there's always one house that seems to have the most heart.  Are you one of those neighbors?
          Oh and by the way, I forgot to mention last week that once you have 4 blocks completed you can sew them all together for your first row.  Refer to the layout if you need more help, but basically you just need to sew Houses 1,2,3 & 4 together.  There is not additional sashing between.  It's satisfying to have a complete row to show friends and family.
